FINDING OUR SCHOOL:
From the main thoroughfare Queen Street in the city centre, turn left onto Karangahape Road, and look out for our building on the left, on the corner with Liverpool Street.

Empire Residence is an affordable option located in the heart of Auckland City with stunning views of the city and the harbour, close to the Aotea centre, the Sky Tower and a 10 minute walk to Embassy English Auckland.

HOMESTAY:
Live as part of an English-speaking household while at Embassy’s English school in Auckland. Depending on the type of accommodation you book, you’ll have your own bedroom, or share a room with another Embassy English school student. You will eat breakfast and also evening meals with your hosts. It's a great chance to meet Auckland residents and share their way of life. All Embassy English School Auckland Homestays are a maximum of 45 minutes away by public transport, and many are closer. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.

TRAVELLING AROUND THE CITY:
With Embassy’s Auckland English school city-centre location, it's easy to get around on foot or using public transport. Britomart Transport Centre and the ferry terminal are about 15-minute walk from the school. Bus stops are located all around the school. There is also a free City Circuit bus service available in the city centre.

COST OF LIVING:
We currently advise students at our Auckland English school to budget approximately NZ $150 per week. This will cover all basic transport, food and entertainment costs. (Last updated April 2013)
