FINDING OUR SCHOOL:
From Park Street subway stop (on the Green line), cross Tremont Street towards the Bank of America ATM. Turn right and then walk along Tremont Street towards the Theatre District. Pass Winter Street and Temple Place on the left, then take the left onto West Street.

From Downtown Crossing subway stop (on the Red line), at the crossroads (with Winter Street on your right and Summer Street on your left) walk down Washington Street. Pass Temple Place on your right, then turn next right into West Street.

RESIDENTIAL:
Embassy Boston offers two self-catering residences and B&B easily accessible by public transport. Your enrolment advisor or agent can advise you further, and help you book accommodation.

HOMESTAY:
Live as part of an English-speaking household while at English school in Boston. Depending on the type of accommodation you book, you’ll have your own bedroom, or share a room with another Embassy student. You will eat breakfast and, if you have a half board booking, also evening meals with your hosts. It's a great chance to meet Boston residents and share their way of life. Living with English-speakers also means that you will never stop learning and improving your fluency.

TRAVELLING AROUND THE CITY:
Use the subway, bus, trolley car and boat service to get just about everywhere in the Greater Boston area. Park Street Station and Downtown Crossing subway stops are both within walking distance of our English school on West Street.

From the airport
Average travel time in a taxi from the airport to Boston downtown area is 40 minutes. By bus, take the Silver Line (rapid transit bus) to South Station.

COST OF LIVING:
We currently advise that students should budget approximately US $90-115 per week. This will cover all basic transport, food and entertainment costs. (Last updated April 2013)
